Find the course that fits.
Start from scratch over two weeks, study the theory at home and spend five days with us, or add fine line work to skills you already have. All three are CPD accredited and taught in our Birmingham studio.
Two weeks in the studio that take you from your first machine set up to tattooing real skin, with hygiene, linework and shading covered properly along the way.
Complete beginner, short on time off, or already tattooing: there's a course built for each.

Students from Birmingham, the West Midlands and across the UK
Studios in Birmingham rarely have room for an apprentice, and the few places that come up go fast. Our training gives you a structured start in a working studio, so you have real skills and a portfolio when you knock on studio doors.
In the city centre, a short walk from the Mailbox and Gas Street Basin. Our location page has the full address, a map and directions.
How do I get to you?
Birmingham New Street is about a 10 minute walk away, with direct trains from across the West Midlands. Driving? There are several car parks a few minutes from the door.
I've never tattooed. Which course should I book?
The 10 day Tattoo Training Course, if you can take two weeks off. If you can't, the 5 day Hybrid Tattoo Course lets you study the theory at home first. Both start from zero.
Do I need to register with Birmingham City Council?
Yes. Anyone tattooing in Birmingham has to register with Birmingham City Council's Environmental Health team before they start work. You'll need insurance too, and a CPD accredited certificate helps you get it.
Is there a certificate at the end?
Yes. Every course is CPD accredited, and you receive your certificate when you complete it.
Can I come from outside Birmingham?
Of course. Students travel to us from across the West Midlands and the rest of the UK.
How many people are on a course?
We keep groups small, so you get proper time on the machine and one to one help from the trainers.
How do I book?
Pick a date on our course dates page and book online, paying a deposit or the full amount. Want to talk it through first? Call or email us.
