About the course
A tattoo course for people who can't take two weeks off
The Hybrid Tattoo Course splits your training in two. First you study the theory and the basics at home, at a pace that suits you. Then you spend 5 days in our Birmingham studio on the practical side, with working artists beside you.
If you can take the time, our 10 day Tattoo Training Course keeps everything in the studio. Choose the Hybrid course if:
Your job won't give you a fortnight off
You're fitting training around children or other commitments
You like to study at your own pace before the hands-on part
You're a beginner who wants a proper grounding

Not sure it's the one?
Every course is CPD accredited and taught hands-on in our Birmingham studio. Call 07341 067281 and we'll help you choose.
Two weeks in the studio that take you from your first machine set up to tattooing real skin, with hygiene, linework and shading covered properly along the way.
What do I do at home, and what happens in the studio?
You cover the theory and the basics at home, in your own time. The 5 studio days in Birmingham are all practical, with working artists guiding you.
How much time off work will I need?
Just the 5 days of your practical. The home study fits around your job.
Should I choose this or the 10 day course?
Both are for beginners. The 10 day Tattoo Training Course teaches everything in the studio over two weeks, so you get more time on the machine with a trainer. The Hybrid course suits you if two weeks off isn't possible.
Can I do this with no experience?
Yes. It's a beginners' course, and the home study gets you ready before your first studio day.
I work outside Birmingham. Is the studio easy to reach?
We're in the city centre, about a 10 minute walk from Birmingham New Street, which has direct trains from across the West Midlands.
Is there a certificate?
Yes. You receive a CPD accredited certificate when you complete the course.
Do I have to pay everything up front?
No. You can pay a deposit when you book and the rest later. Our terms explain when the balance is due.
